An extremely detailed history, political history & social history of this historic area of Namibia, inhabited by the “Bastards” in the 1880s, assisted by numerous missions & churches, these people were perpetually sidelined & robbed of their land. An excellent in-depth study of these events over the years, the legal & social aspects (includes a bit on Eugen Fischer - largely responsible for the practice of eugenics by Nazis’s - and author of a study on the difference between races after conducting experiments among the Rehoboth …. see also lot #8).
