An arbitrary collection of 37 odd issues as follows .... Nos. 2 – 8, 10, 11,  A collection of 37 of the first 73 issues of this ongoing archaeological magazine. Each issue contains one or more article & consist of between 24 - 75 pages, often illustrated - photos, drawings, diagrams, etc.. Not limited to South Africa, a number of articles on the Rhodesias & other nearby countries. All issues have the original wrappers, with a copy of a Bushman artwork on the front. Most of the articles are archaeological, but a number are more ethnological, dealing with tribal people. Articles include illustrations of carvings, pottery, stone age implements & many illustrations of rock art (including some illustrated articles by Abbé Henri Breuil). Many legendary archaeologists & anthropologists contributed, including Raymod A. Dart, Brian M. Fagan, C.K. Cooke, J.T. Robinson, R.R. Inskeep, Revil J. Mason, G.A. Gardner, J. Desond Clark, C. van Riet Lowe, James Walton, Henri Breuil, Alex L. du Toit, A.J.H. Goodwin, D.N. Lee & H.C. Wrappers usually pretty good, with one or two detached (but present), a few have "discarded" library-stamps on covers, one has a signature on cover, some covers a bit worn, some creasing, some browning in the text, odd bit of underlining.
